Victory Academy needed Science Laboratory refurbishment
Surbiton High School, part of the United Learning Trust, had two Science Laboratories that needed refurbishment.
They had specific ideas about the style they were looking for, which included black floors, gloss white cupboards and white ceiling. A teaching wall was required in both of the rooms which needed to house an interactive screen as well as providing storage.
In one of the rooms there was a fixed island unit and this needed to be stripped back and the layout updated. Moveable tables and high back chairs were also needed as part of the project which was needed for installation during Summer 2022.

How Brookhouse refurbished Victory Academy two Science Laboratory
BrookhouseUK created 3D visuals along with 2D plans showing specific layouts of both rooms which enabled Surbiton High to obtain their funding. Mobile tables and high backed chairs were included and bright colours complimented the dark floor and ceiling.
Perimeter storage cupboards with Trespa tops provided useful storage and work spaces. Teaching walls were designed and installed which incorporated whiteboards with sliding wipe boards in front of the interactive screen, lockable cupboards and tray storage.
Gas taps and electrical sockets were strategically placed within the room, complying to all safety regulations and requirements. The resulting Science Laboratory was a huge improvement to the school’s science facilities.
