Haringey Sixth Form College sought to revamp their outdoor space to create a functional and inviting breakout area for students. The objective was to transform an underutilised area into a vibrant social hub that encourages relaxation, social interaction, and outdoor learning.

How Brookhouse created an inviting all-weather outdoor space
Brookhouse designed and executed a comprehensive transformation of the outdoor breakout area, creating a dynamic and engaging space that significantly enhances the student experience. The new area features custom-designed, weather-resistant furniture, varied seating options, and sheltered areas for year-round use.
Greenery and landscaping elements were incorporated to make the space more inviting. The thoughtful design supports a range of activities, from casual socialising to outdoor study sessions, fostering a stronger sense of community among students.
The project was completed on time and within budget, seamlessly integrating with the college’s refurbishment goals and becoming a popular spot on campus.
